Pasta salad
Yes, you read it correctly. Pasta salad is as unique as its name as none would even think of including pasta in a traditional recipe. You will need 1/2 pound provolone cubed cheese, 1 large green bell pepper in one inch pieces, 1/2 pound cubed salami, 3 cups halved cherry tomatoes, 1 (16 ounces) of spiral pasta, 1/4 pound sliced pepperoni, 1 (8 ounces) bottle Italian salad dressing, 1 (10 ounces) can drain black olives and 1 (4 ounces) jar pimentos.
To start with, take a pot and fill it with water and salt. Let the water boil and add pasta to cook it for eight to ten minutes. After that, drain the water and rinse pasta with cold water. Take another, larger, bowl and add pasta, salami, tomatoes, cheese, olives, pepperoni, pimentos, and green paper. Voila, your salad is ready to serve.
Egg salad
We would have never thought of including an egg salad in the list until we tasted it ourselves. It is one of the recipes that turned out to be shockingly tasty. To make the salad you will need 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup chopped green onion, 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, salt, and pepper as per taste and eight eggs.
First and foremost, take a saucepan with cold water then place the eggs carefully. Let the water boil and instantly remove it from heat. Cover the saucepan and rest the eggs for ten to twelve minutes in hot water. Afterward, remove the cover and chop the eggs. Mix the eggs with green onions, mayonnaise, and mustard. Finally, season the mixture with pepper, salt, and paprika to serve it with the bread of your choice.
Broccoli salad
The recipe was included to please all the fitness freaks out there. Broccoli salad is a yummy mixture of vegetables, meats, and fruits, which also serves as a dietary supplement. You will need ¾ cup sliced almonds, 1 red onion, ¾ cup raisins, 1 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar, ½ pound bacon, ½ cup white sugar and 2 heads fresh broccoli.
The preparation starts with placing bacon in a skillet which is then cooked over medium heat till the color turns to brown. Then, you will have to cut the broccoli into desirable sizes plus the onion must be shortened to bite-size slices. Now, stir the mixture with raisins, nuts, and bacon.
Coming to the dressing, the mayonnaise should be mixed with vinegar and sugar till it becomes evenly smooth. Lastly, fuse everything and serve the salad chilled.
