Take a large pot and mix onions, cabbage, carrots, celery, tomatoes, peppers, and green beans together. Cover the vegetables thoroughly with tomato juice, onion soup mix, and water. Boil the vegetables until they become tender. Also, the soup can survive many days with the help of refrigeration.
Wild and brown rice recipe
The recipe is best for people who are always on the go. Prepare it ahead of time and microwave to enjoy the low-calorie recipe anytime you like.
You will require 1 cup uncooked brown rice, 1 cup diced carrots, 1 1/2 cups uncooked wild rice, 1 cup diced onion, 3/4 cup diced celery, 3 cups boiling water, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme, 3 (14.5 ounces) cans chicken broth, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram.
Take a heavy pan and fill it with water. Put in the wild rice and boil it for around thirty minutes, then rinse and drain thoroughly. Now, take a Dutch oven or a large skillet to mix brown rice, carrots, thyme, salt, celery, marjoram, chicken broth, black pepper, and drained wild rice.
Now cover the skillet and cook the mixture on low heat for fifty to sixty minutes or till the liquid is absorbed and the rice has tendered down.
